It is hard to find anyone with a novel in their hand anymore nowadays. Why is it so? Does it mean literatuer is irrelevant to our life? Yes, it is not bread or butter, but it is the nourishment for our soul.

Teachers don't encourage us to read literature, neither do our parents. In their view, literary works like TV series or any other artistic products are impractical, especially to finding an employment. However, one important aspect has gone neglected by most people. To live a full life, one has to be a complete being, body and mind. Doing physical exercise is as important as doing mental training by reading a poem. To live materially is to live incompletely.
